James Perse

Mobile Design UX research profile for James Perse, a high-fashion retail company.

Project Synopsis

Project Goals

Design and prototype a mobile application for James Perse, a high-fashion retail company.  Follow textbook UX workflow from sketching, through paper and software prototyping and create a functional prototype for client review.

Considerations

A high-fashion client with a particular style. We want this application to belong to its industry, but not to be a carbon copy.  In addition, we want the application to be extremely user-friendly as well as a vehicle for the brand story of James Perse.

Role on Project

This was a team job.  On the team of three, my role was to build the interactions in Marvelapp, as well as illustrating the user story.  Final presentation and hi-fi comps of screens were created by Mike Pupo and Jessica Stephens.

a note: if you are a returning user, this role statement has changed. I originally had an exaggerated description of my role, and failed to name my team members who were integral — Nay, tantamount in the creation of this ambitious project. I owe them an apology and gratitude for their work on the project.

Tools

Photoshop, Illustrator,  Marvelapp, hand illustration.
